Integrated Base Defense System
L3-EER has extended its position in the Homeland Security arena with the introduction of the Integrated Base Defense System (IBDS), extending its previous expertise in supplying the USAF with the Tactical Automated Security System (TASS). |
IBDS integrates the data collection and display of numerous threat detection systems on a single console with a map display that permits an operator to assess the threat environment of an entire geographic arena like a military base or other campus-size area. The system additionally includes the ability to present coordinated and controlled digital motion video from fixed-location video and thermal cameras or cameras mounted on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Jabber/XMPP based architecture permits the system to be extended to support emerging family of XML enabled sensor systems.
